INVERTED COSMOS

INVERTED COSMOS combines contemporary dance with multimedia installation.
The performance draws inspiration from the obvious parallels between the anatomy of the human lung and the structure of a tree, inviting reflection on the symbolic power of breath.
In a dance solo that oscillates between lightness and contemplation, the dancer herself
becomes a breathing concept, while a visual soundscape unites the sounds of the body with those of nature. Forest, roots, and bronchi merge into one another, transforming the stage into a pulsating ecosystem. The upside-down tree within our chest becomes a metaphor for an intimate relationship between the macrocosm and the microcosm, reminding us of our connection to the Earth.
